Due to the fast moving pace of change within the business world, an organisation continuously needs to reshape itself to remain competitive. Innovation, creativity and the ability to embrace change are paramount in every organisation. This impacts employers’ expectations of their staff that need people who can quickly adapt and align with new organisational needs and realities.  When assessing suitability for a role, the most common approach is to assess current competencies, behaviours and past achievements.  Should a potential candidate meet most of the criteria, internal or external training is provided to fill any missing gaps.  In the past this approach, as a short- term solution has worked well. However, in order to meet the threats and opportunities in a fiercely competitive environment, organisations need to consider their employees’ future potential.  In the current working climate, due to the constant flux of change, employer expectations are higher.  We need people to take on a variety of additional tasks and responsibilities at short notice.  Therefore we need employees to be change opportunists, to continuously evolve, to be proactive rather than reactive.  More than ever we need to keep performance at its peak and foster an environment where staff, feel valued and respected in order to retain them.  Loosing valuable employees is costly and time consuming.

Synthesis Personal Development Programmes are designed to focus on values, attitudes and potential, the less visible aspects of an individual.  The programmes have been developed to enable greater understanding of strengths, limitations and unlocking creative potential.  Through journeying into the past we learn our current strengths and what limitations we impose on our self and how to overcome them. Through being in the present we learn to be more aware of learning opportunities, unlock creativity and our untapped potential.  Through visualising the future we develop the motivation and find the next steps to meeting our goals.  The programmes also emphasise the importance of continuous learning and growth and how to interact more effectively with colleagues.  Each individual is encouraged to sustain a long- term development programme.  Our aim is to inspire, build confidence, self-esteem and well being not only in the work place but also within personal relationships to achieve a more flexible, creative, valued and dynamic workforce.
